Winemaking Notes
Starting with the 2018 vintage, I have created this wine named after my mom, Janna Rae. As the wines are aging in French oak barrels, I taste each barrel on a regular basis and make notes on each one. After about 15 months, I select the barrel I believe is the best of the vintage. Each year, this special barrel can be selected from any of the vineyards in our portfolio. I bottle this wine after 20 months in barrel.
