Emmaline Ann Vineyard

Emmaline Ann Vineyard in the fog

Emmaline Ann is a three-acre vineyard, special both for its exceptional fruit and for its personal significance to Katy and LaRue.

In 2001, owners Wayne and Nancy Hunnicutt planted this vineyard, which is named after Nancy’s grandmother. Katy first met the Hunnicutts in 2007 during her time as the Assistant Winemaker at Flowers Vineyard & Winery. As one of Katy’s inaugural vineyard partners for LaRue, Wayne and Nancy have become more than just partners, they have become family and Emmaline Ann Vineyard has become like home to LaRue.

Perfectly situated for watching the fog engulf the vines in the evening and slowly burn off in the morning, this small but mighty vineyard faces southwest toward the Pacific Ocean and produces a wine with a lighter hue, yet impactful body on the palate.
